TapCard Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TapCard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
2. About TapCard
TapCard is a digital business card platform that allows users to create, manage, share, and discover digital identity cards, including public and private profile information, QR-based sharing, Wallet integration, and related networking features.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use TapCard. If you are using TapCard on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
4. Accounts and Access
- • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- • Do not impersonate another person or business.
- • Do not use TapCard for unlawful, misleading, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
- • We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is being used in violation of these terms.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload or publish through TapCard. By using TapCard, you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, display, and transmit your content only as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service.
6. Public and Private Cards
TapCard may let you mark cards or profile elements as public or private. Public content may be visible to other users and may be accessible through sharing links, public discovery features, or QR-based access. You are responsible for choosing what information you make public.
7. Subscriptions and Paid Features
- • Some features may require a paid subscription.
- • Payment will be charged through the platform you use, such as Apple.
- • Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before renewal.
- • Refunds, billing issues, and subscription management may be subject to Apple App Store rules or other platform billing terms.
8. Prohibited Use
- • Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the service.
- • Do not attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- • Do not distribute spam, malware, or harmful content through TapCard.
- • Do not use TapCard to harass, stalk, defame, or abuse others.
- • Do not copy, scrape, or extract user data at scale without authorization.
9. Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of TapCard at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will always remain available.
10. Third-Party Services
TapCard may rely on or integrate with third-party services such as Apple Sign In, Apple Wallet, Supabase, RevenueCat, analytics tools, hosting services, and external links provided by users. We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, or their terms, privacy practices, or availability.
11. Intellectual Property
The TapCard app, brand, design, software, and related materials are owned by TapCard or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
12. Disclaimer
TapCard is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TapCard and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, business, goodwill, or opportunity arising from or related to your use of the service. If liability cannot be fully excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid to use TapCard in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 USD if no payment was made.
14. Termination
You may stop using TapCard at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, create risk for other users, expose us to legal liability, or misuse the service.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the operator of TapCard is established, unless local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of TapCard after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised terms.
